1. What PlayTambola is
PlayTambola is a digital tambola (housie) board for hosting parties with friends: the host creates a room, players join from their own phones, numbers are drawn publicly, and players claim winning lines. Hosting is free for rooms up to 15 players. Larger rooms require a one-time Party Pass (₹29, ₹79 or ₹199) — a software service fee that unlocks a bigger room for that party.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Players need no account: joining uses a permanent device ID created on your own phone. Hosts identify with an email address. Paid features are intended for users 18 and above. You agree to give accurate information where required (for example, a mobile number on paid games so the host can verify you) and not to impersonate other people.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card or UPI credentials. A Party Pass is a one-time unlock tied to a specific party — if the party is cancelled (by you, or automatically after 24 hours of inactivity), the pass value returns to your in-app wallet automatically for reuse on a future party. Passes are software fees, not deposits, bets or stakes.
4. Fair play
Number draws are generated server-side and every draw is permanently recorded. Manipulating the draw, claiming false wins, or harassing other players is not allowed and can result in removal from a party or a ban from the service.
5. Liability
The service is provided "as is" for entertainment. We work hard to keep parties running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and we are not liable for missed parties, lost prizes agreed between players, or indirect damages. If something breaks, contact us and we will make it right where we reasonably can.
6. Changes
We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use PlayTambola after a change means you accept it.
